Note:  it has come to my attention that some family members are concerned about having their names
and pictures on the website.

If anyone feels that they would like to be removed from this site, simply send me an email and I will
remove all names and pictures associated with you and replace it with only your first name.

To get your password, send me an email or give me a call.
My Aunt Kim Tartaglia writes:
"Dear Marco,
It was very interesting to know there was a Fontana Tartaglia.  Congratulations on your website!!  It is awsome !!
As far as your Grandmother, I think, Mrs. Antoinetta Mancini has most of the stories.  Give me some time and maybe I will ask your Uncle Marco
to complete his side.  It was very nice to see you.  Stay cool.
Kim"

-thanks Kim, it was certainly nice to see you too.  I can't believe how fast your "babies" have grown.  Lenny is so big and Grace is almost ready
for college.  I feel really old!  I will try to stay cool, but it is about 110 degrees in Arizona today.  Perfect weather for staying in and building the
website!
My cousin Lisa Tamburri writes:
"Hi All
This is a wonderful idea and a lot of work and time was put into it.  Marco has started a beautiful memory, one that is very special and dear. I
agree with Aunt Kim, mom knows a lot, but so do all our aunts and uncles.  I hope they all join in and share their memories, so our children and
their children can look back and be as excited and touched as I am in reading all this.

We are remarkable people.... a person once said to me... the road we travel.. is one with many curves and bumps.. but if we have the will to
succeed then we will get thru them.  Our family has been on a lot of roads, and now we can share in these memories of the paths that have
taken.... and make our own memories....

Marco, all the best.. if I could help please let me know... Lisa"

-thanks Lisa, I am happy that you share my vision of this website as a resource for our family members and children.  All you have to do to help is
just email me some pictures, names, dates, and interesting stories!
My cousin Tina Nader writes:
"Marco, this is wonderful!  What a tremendous undertaking.....I didn't even know of the existence of these relatives, so it's good to have the
information!   I  promise to update my part of the tree, eventually....when I figure out how to do pictures or when one of my sons
show me how to do it...

-thanks Tina, your comment really shows me the need for a website like this.  I too have found relatives that I didn't even know existed.  Also, this
is the first time in my life that I can name all of my mom's sisters and their husbands!  Sending a digital picture is easy, you just send me an email
and click "attachment" and choose the picture you want to send.  That's it!  Easy, fast, and free.  Technology is sometimes wonderful.
My cousin Lenny Mancini writes:
"This is a great idea!  I'll talk to my wife about picture and stuff, she does all that.  Keep me in the loop with life.  I'll be checking into your website
from time to time, good job!"

-thanks Len, you know I've been so caught up in my own BS that I put everyone else in the back of my mind.  But now I'm interested in creating
something that will help all of us to catch up even though we are all so busy.
Cousin Tina adds:
"I read your comments on holistic health and found the topic very interesting.  If anyone is naive enough to doubt the role of
pharmaceuticals in endangering our lives, all they have to do is witness the amount of children being diagnosed with Autism
Spectrum Disorders, it's unreal how this can be so widespread and still the gov't, fda, and doctors fail to put the blame on the mercury
used as preservative for infant immunizations. "

Tina, the marriage of Western Medicine and Politics was never supposed to happen.  The results could be disastrous.  As I said, people
(especially older people like our parents) have been brain-washed to believe that all doctors are some kind of superior god-like entity that must
be obeyed.  They have memories of getting teeth pulled without Novocaine, or people dying from Pneumonia, or other pre-vaccine diseases like
Small Pox; and so they believe that medicine is ALWAYS right, and ALWAYS good.  Today we know that doctors are smart people but they are a
product of the medical schools.  And the medical schools are largely influenced by the pharmaceutical corporations.  Therefore, we can't always
trust everything our doctors say.  It's not their fault, they just don't know any better.

Corporations and government sponsorships have always paid for research in the past.  "Research Bias" is nothing new.  But a problem occurs
when it becomes LAW that every citizen MUST have certain vaccines in order to go to a public school; or that a medical professional can ONLY
treat certain diseases with certain "approved" methods, and CANNOT legally use alternative methods lest he face punishment by the LAW.  Why
even have doctors anymore?  Just have pharmacists.  Tell them your problem and they'll type it into a computer and give you the drug.  Are
doctors "healers" who can make their own decisions or are they just "drug pushers"?  An even more scary question is "Are we as patients
allowed to choose our own treatment?"  Will we be able to choose in the near future?

Finally, the availability of fresh organic foods is starting to decline.  Many small farms are going out of business and the larger ones are
government-subsidized and controlled.  If you are my age or older, you remember the 80's when all the farmers were going out of business, and
banks were foreclosing on their homes.  You remember the John Cougar Mellancamp songs like "Rain on the Scarecrow, Blood on the Plow..."
that told the story.  Now we have mechanization and chemicals taking the place of hands-on work and clean foods; all in the name of PROFIT.
Worst of all, it is impossible to "prove" if these things are harmful or not.  Who has the time or the money to do a 30 year study to see if eating
genetically engineered foods causes cancer?  Anyway, the point is that no matter what you believe, it should be LEGAL for you to make your
own CHOICES.  That freedom of choice is quickly declining.  As I mentioned, the international conglomerate CODEX (of which USA is a strong
member) is trying to control all vitamins and other homeopathic remedies.  It is already illegal to buy high-potency Vitamin C in Germany.

How will this problem be solved?  We need government intervention.  Medical Research should not be a business.  Only independent
government-financed research should be used.  That is the only way that we will ever be able to fully trust the results of their "research."
Unfortunately, the money to be made is so large that even government is interested in "getting in on the action."  There may not be a solution to
this one.  Maybe underground knowledge will be the only way that folks will be able to learn the truth.

Robin Tartaglia, daughter of "Uncle Dan" writes:
"Dear Marco ---  I am visiting my Dad and showing him your great new web page.  He is enthralled!! at both the technology, which amazes him,
and the joy of seeing photos of Oteka and kids.  I will send you some great family photos!!  This is an exciting project and I thank you for all the
work you are putting into it.  Thanks so much!!"

-Thank you Robin for writing to me.  And thank you for the corrections.  I will make the changes, and also add the new info that you gave me.  I
was worried that some of your side of the family wouldn't want to be in this site.  I am relieved that you are enjoying it, and that you want to
participate.   Please pass the website on to all of the members on your side.  And make sure you come visit Arizona!  (but not during the hot
summer months!)
Dr. Dan Tartaglia III, M.D. writes:
Hi Marco, you have a great site, and have put in a lot of effort.  I really appreciate the family tree. When I see your Mom (last time when we saw
you in Scottsdale also) I always ask for details about the family history, but even when I write it down I forget.  I was at my Godmother Marian
Rubino's  sister Rita's(brothers Frank and ?) funeral in May when I was back in the US for my regular visit with my Dad Dan.  I saw some of the
Rubino and my Grandmothers side of the family . Their mother and my Grandmother were sisters.  When we were little (pre-teen) we always,
nearly every weekend, were at some relatives house, but in the late 50s and 60s everyone was moved or busy doing something else, so we never
got together again.  Donna and I have raised 5 kids, and it is an effort, even when we were in the US in one site (Alfred, NY) to have just an
immediate family get together.  Now it is every year or so that everyone is together.  We visit a few times  year, but it is a real journey to connect.

-Thank you for the letter and the 17 pictures, including 2 online blogs!  New Zealand???  You can't get much further away than that!  You are
right, it is extremely difficult to stay connected.  However, hopefully this site can help us to all stay together and up to date on family news.  BTW,
in case I ever get to New Zealand, can I give you a ring and visit?
